Toki Mochi Sky vs Frozen Treats vs Sushi Unicorno Blind Bags

Category: Comparisons
Compare three 4.5-inch tokidoki blind bag plush lines on theme, price, and collecting appeal to pick the right one for your first or next blind bag.
Quick answer
Choose Toki Mochi Sky if you want the lowest entry price and a soft, sky-themed start; pick Frozen Treats for a playful dessert theme; go with Sushi Unicorno if you prefer a food-themed Unicorno look. All three are 4.5-inch tokidoki blind bags, so the real decision is theme and budget, not size.
What actually differs between the three
The three lines share the same 4.5-inch blind bag format and tokidoki artwork, so the practical differences come down to theme and price. Toki Mochi Sky carries the lowest catalog price at $8.24, Frozen Treats sits at $8.60, and Sushi Unicorno is $7.88. Those small gaps matter if you plan to buy several bags at once, but they are not large enough to override theme preference.
Because these are blind bags, the specific character inside is not disclosed before purchase. That is part of the collecting appeal, but it also means you cannot choose an exact figure from the listing. If you need a guaranteed character, a blind bag is the wrong format.
Theme as the deciding factor
Toki Mochi Sky leans toward a soft, airy motif, which suits collectors who want a gentler display piece. Frozen Treats uses dessert-inspired imagery, making it a natural fit for food-themed collections or gifts. Sushi Unicorno combines the Unicorno character with sushi styling, so it appeals most to collectors who already follow Unicorno designs.
None of the listings specify the number of possible characters or the odds of each, so treat the theme as the reliable guide and the chase-character odds as unknown.
Price and catalog comparison values
Each product page shows a catalog comparison price alongside the current price. Toki Mochi Sky is listed at $8.24 against a $12.12 comparison, Frozen Treats at $8.60 against $12.46, and Sushi Unicorno at $7.88 against $12.12. These comparison figures are catalog references, not a promise of future pricing, so verify the live price before checkout.
Trade-offs to weigh before you buy
- Lowest price vs theme fit: Sushi Unicorno is the cheapest at $7.88, but if you do not collect Unicorno designs, the savings may not justify a theme you will not display. Choose the theme first, then let price break ties. Set a per-bag budget before browsing so a small price gap does not pull you away from the theme you actually want.
- Blind bag surprise vs guaranteed character: All three are blind bags, so the character inside is unknown until opening. If you are buying for a specific character or completing a set, the lack of disclosed odds makes that harder. Buy blind bags for the surprise, not for a guaranteed figure.
- Single purchase vs building a collection: Buying one bag from each line gives you three themes and a broader display without committing to duplicates. Buying multiples of one line increases the chance of repeats, though the odds are not published. Start with one of each if you are new to blind bag collecting.
